Is all publicity good?
This property in Midwood Brooklyn is drawing a lot of attention, unfortunately for the seller, it's not from buyers. The draw is due to its aggressive promotions of the national incumbent.
Nothing is wrong with supporting your president or having an opinion. But does it affect the value of your home? Would this house have sold if the gawkers who disagree with the political choice weren’t scaring away potential buyers? In a city that is more than 50% democrat, do buyers who disagree with a political party want to the buyer a home with such a different political past.
I think this distracts from sales attention. I would never advise a seller to remove one's signs or change their political; belief. But maybe hold off selling until after the election when this type of signage isn’t needed.
